Companies involved in manufacturing machines and equipment, materials, or directly printing and selling shoes are emerging in an endless stream. At the 2026 TCT Asia and the Aibang Footwear Forum, Shenzhen Xinbochuan Materials Technology Co., Ltd. In March 2026, from March 17th to 19th, Xinbochuan showcased its four major series of 3D printing elastomer consumables, namely PEBA, PEBU, PEBE, and PEBR, at the TCT Asia Expo in Shanghai. With its superior properties such as high resilience, high toughness, wear resistance, and light weight, as well as customized solutions for the entire structure of shoe materials including midsoles, air cushions, insoles, shoe uppers, outsoles, and carbon plates, the booth attracted a large number of domestic and foreign shoe brands, equipment manufacturers, and designers to stop by and exchange ideas.



At the 2nd 3D Printing Footwear Industry Forum and the 12th Footwear Materials Forum, Wu Changrong delivered a keynote speech titled "3D Printing Materials for Elastic Bodies Empowering Shoe Industry Manufacturing". He pointed out that the traditional development cycle of shoe materials is long, the mold production cost is high, and the inventory pressure is large. However, Xinbochuan, relying on FDM, SP-FILM spraying and foaming technologies, has achieved three major innovations: personalized customization, material performance breakthrough, and rapid iteration - reducing the new product research and development cycle from several months to one week. At the same time, the distributed on-demand manufacturing model can significantly reduce inventory and carbon emissions, and environmentally friendly materials and recycling solutions help the footwear industry achieve the goal of carbon neutrality.

1、PEBA Series - The "Key" Material with High Elasticity and Flexibility


Due to its high speed, high elasticity and lighter weight, PEBA wire has become the preferred choice for high elastic and flexible wire materials. The flagship product, PEBA 90A wire, has excellent physical properties: the rebound rate is over 70%, the elongation at break is over 500%, the bending modulus is 80 MPa, the tensile strength is 28 MPa, and it is strong, tough and highly elastic. To increase the popularity, Xinbochuan has launched a long-term discount campaign. The discounted price of PEBA 90A (0.8kg per roll) is only 235 yuan, significantly lowering the usage threshold for users.



2. PEBU Series - Specifically designed for footwear materials and wearable devices


The PEBU series is divided into impact-resistant, high-resilience and foaming consumables. It offers multiple hardness options of 90A, 85A, and 80A, combining the toughness and high resilience of PEBA with the skin-friendly texture of TPU. Among them, 90A is suitable for ball products, 85A is mainly for shoe products, and 80A is suitable for home products such as pillows and cushions. The shoes and headrest products that attracted much attention at the exhibition were printed using the PEBU-H-90A FOAM foaming consumable. After printing, the hardness decreased from 90A to 70A, making it soft and comfortable, and highly suitable for wearable devices. It has been widely applied in shoe materials, waist rests, headrests, and other products.


3. PEBE Series - Giving Cultural Products a Flexible Touch


PEBE wire focuses on figurines, toys, anime models, etc. It completely eliminates the stiffness of PETG and PLA hard materials, giving the products a soft and delicate touch. Moreover, its "unbreakable" feature significantly enhances the durability of cultural and creative products.


4. PEBR Rubber Series - Expanding Industrial Applications with Exceptional Anti-Slip Properties


The core advantage of PEBR wire material lies in its anti-slip property. It is widely applicable to the outsoles of shoes, safety components, and anti-slip scenarios in transportation and industry. It can also be used in adult products, robot skins and other fields. Currently, the PEBR-FOAM foaming consumables have been successfully developed and will be launched on the market.

Other innovative products: Biodegradable bio-based polyester and high-speed PETG


Xinbochuan has successfully developed a new type of biodegradable bio-based polyester consumable material named BP-100 (with a hardness of 55D). It has excellent shock resistance and can be widely applied to high-quality figurines, toys, models, furniture and other products, being environmentally friendly. At the same time, the PETG HS high-speed printing consumable material has been successfully trial-produced, with quality benchmarking against mainstream high-end PETG HF. It can reduce costs without sacrificing printing speed and quality. In addition, PEEK, PA/CF reinforced wire materials, and carbon fiber printing materials are also under accelerated development.


The demand for elastomer 3D printing materials has increased significantly in the past two years, but the development process is very difficult and takes a long time, requiring an extremely strong professional technical team. Xinkochuan has shortened the development cycle to one week and adopted a distributed manufacturing model instead of the traditional centralized inventory system, precisely targeting the pain points of the "fast response" and "zero inventory" in the footwear and apparel industry.
