On May 15, 2025, the donation ceremony for the “Ignite Hope, Shape the Future” initiative was successfully held at the No. 3 Senior High School of Songtao Miao Autonomous County. Through China Zigen, Flashforge donated 22 sets of 3D printers and consumables to the Songtao education system, aiming to empower education, promote local scientific and technological innovation, and bring cutting-edge technology into schools.
More than 80 attendees were present at the event, including Yang Yun, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the County Education Bureau, along with heads of relevant departments of the Education Bureau, Yang Jian from China Zigen, Zhang Bin from Flashforge, Wang Cong from Flashforge’s partner Ranmeng Technology, Yuan Donghui from Guizhou Xunda, and representatives of teachers and students from eight recipient schools.
In his speech, Yang Yun stated, “The deployment of these 3D printing devices will significantly enhance the hardware foundation of our county’s science and innovation education. They will provide a platform for students to engage in hands-on creativity, playing a vital role in cultivating future talents in science and technology and accelerating the modernization of our education system.” Representatives from Flashforge and China Zigen also delivered speeches, reaffirming their commitment and vision for supporting public welfare in education.
Following the speeches, the County Education Bureau received a donation plaque and presented Flashforge with an honorary certificate, in recognition of its support and contributions to Songtao’s education development.
After the donation ceremony, Flashforge engineers delivered a presentation with PowerPoint slides and videos to showcase real-world applications of 3D printing technology across various industries, sparking strong interest among students and teachers. During the interactive Q\&A session, students enthusiastically asked questions, and engineers responded with patience and professionalism, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. Student representatives from top school clubs also shared their creative journeys, highlighting the innovation potential of Songtao’s youth.
To further deepen understanding and facilitate hands-on use of the 3D printers, engineers from Ranmeng Technology and Guizhou Xunda provided on-site operational guidance. Teacher and student representatives visited the 3D creativity club classroom for a close-up experience with the technology. Engineers answered questions in real-time about modeling and printing challenges, with the school’s IT teachers offering full support to ensure smooth equipment operation and a solid technical foundation for the event.
This donation not only brought a batch of advanced equipment to Songtao’s educators and students but also opened a door to the world of technology. Upholding its philosophy of “Making the Most Advanced Technology More Accessible,” Flashforge has, for the past 14 years, been dedicated to promoting the integration of 3D printing into education. By actively collaborating with prestigious institutions such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Tsinghua University, Flashforge has helped incorporate cutting-edge 3D printing technologies into teaching and research. Today, its equipment is used in over 7,000 schools. Looking ahead, Flashforge aspires to expand these collaborations, bringing frontier technologies into more campuses and creating lasting platforms for practice and continuous learning for both students and teachers. |
